PROBLEM: The Theatre here shows crap. They don’t do anything for today… just for old people. -Karlsruhe

SOLUTION: We concretely suggest to make a week long «Novela» (Maria la del barrio, Marimar, Cuna de Lobos, La Madrastra…) so that you show in the street very human and dramatic situations, such as two women bitch/slapping each other over a man, or a girl breaking up with her partner.

This resulted in a secret, live, public telenovella performed throughout the ZKM opening, beginning with the husband and his affair getting more and more passionate, and ending with the wife discovering them, and a cat fight that ended with the woman smashing into a contemporary art piece involving jello as they scrabbled on the floor…
